Despite trailing at half, William Floyd shut out Commack after the break to pull out a 28-14 win on the road and return to the Suffolk Division 1 championship game. Floyd will face Sachem North in the title game, the fourth championship matchup between the two in the last five years.
Rob Paccione completed 11 of 20 passes for 144 yards and one touchdown and rushed for two scores as Commack finished the regular season unbeaten at 8-0.
